Visonic Wireless Alarm System

The Powermaster (PG2) wireless alarm system is the latest addition to Visonic’s wireless alarm range. The system is based on the 868MHz frequency band and has been designed for professional installation but any competent DIY installer will find the installation easy enough.

The Power master range uses the the new PowerG wireless technology to communicate with each security device or detector. The Powermaster range has a higher RF distance range capability making it even easier in larger properties or houses with outbuildings to get a strong RF reading , a distance of between 50m & 100m internally.
The control panel talks to each device individually and the device responds providing high security 2-way monitoring. If the frequency is jammed or interfered with, it will channel hop onto one of the other 4 frequencies. This frequency hopping technology is far greater than the European standards.

No interference between any other wire free products,such as broadband, wireless heating controls, external interference, mobile etc.Each device (except 24 hour panic buttons or smoke alarms & medical pendants) is turned off and will not be active until you set your system. Depending on the security or safety devices being used, you can expect the life of the batteries to be from 4 – 8 years.

There are two control panels employing PowerG technology – Powermaster 10 and the Powermaster 30.

• Communication is protected by the proven AES-128 encryption algorithm to protect against sophisticated intruders, “code grabbing” and message substitution.
• Link Message collisions are eliminated with TDMA synchronized communication technology similar to WiMAX, GSM and Bluetooth to TDMA in the glossary.
• Devices dynamically optimize their route to the control panel using available repeaters according to changes in the environment.
